UCD fought back to earn a draw against Cabinteely at Belfield on Friday night, in a highly entertaining South Dublin Derby.

The visitors were two up inside thirty minutes, but Collie O'Neill's side never gave up the fight, and came away with a point.

Cabinteely took the lead after a great solo effort from Marty Waters. He cut in from the right, before shooting off his left passed Corbet. And the visitors were two up fifteen minutes later. Liam Scales brought down Jack Watson, and Waters made no mistake, sending Corbet the wrong way.

UCD got one back before the break, as Cian Kavanagh finished into an empty net after rounding Kelly. And Georgie Kelly got the equaliser in the second-half, latching onto Corbet's kick before finishing smartly. It was a shame the game had to end, but a point each was a fair result.
