Sligo Rovers continued their impressive form with a 3-1 win over UCD AFC in the Extra.ie FAI Cup. After going behind to an early Mark Doyle goal, Sligo responded in some style with goals from Kyle Callan-McFadden, Ronan Coughlan and Jesse Devers.

It was looking good for the Students when they took the lead in the seventh minute. Rovers failed to clear a corner and Doyle took advantage went his effort from the edge of the area was deflected in.
The lead only lasted nine minutes though as the Sligo skipper Kyle Callan-McFadden headed home to equalise in an entertaining first-half.
Both sides had chances but it was Sligo who took them in the second-half to seal the win. Firstly, Coughlan took advantage of a brilliant Devers cross to head home before Devers added to the scoreline himself after great work from Junior Ogedi-Uwokze and Devers added the finish.
