Cabinteely sealed a memorable opening day victory over Bray Wanderers thanks to a fantastic first-half performance at Stradbrook. 

Elsewhere, Wexford scored a late equaliser to claim an impressive point against UCD AFC at Ferrycarrig Park.

Cabinteely 4-2 Bray Wanderers

It was a night to remember for Cabinteely as they claimed an impressive victory over the Seagulls on the opening day of the season. 

Kieran Marty Waters opened his account in the 17th minute before Vilius Labutis added a second just before the half-hour. Keith Dalton hit a third in the 36th minute before he completed his brace two minutes from the break. 

Gary Shaw and Jack Watson scored in the second-half but it was never going to be enough to deny Cabinteely a fantastic victory.

Wexford 1-1 UCD AFC

Wexford claimed an impressive point in their first game of the 2020 season thanks to Conor English's late strike. 

Colm Whelan had given the Students the lead in the 16th minute and it looked like they would claim a victory on the opening day of the season. 

However, English found the net in the final minute of the game to share the spoils at Ferrycarrig Park.
