Bray Wanderers sealed top spot in the SSE Airtricity League First Division thanks to an incredible comeback victory against Wexford. Elsewhere, Galway made it three wins from three under John Caulfield whilst Cabinteely were held by Athlone Town.

Wexford 1-3 Bray Wanderers 

Bray Wanderers scored three goals in the final four minutes in the final stages of the game to seal an incredible comeback win at Ferrycarrig Park. 

Wexford dominated much of the game and deservedly went in front thanks to Karl Fitzsimons' strike in the 23rd minute. 

As the game went into the final five minutes, the Seagulls rallied and staged the comeback of the season. Gary Shaw slotted home his penalty in the 86th minute before Sean McEvoy sealed an incredible turnaround just a minute later. As the game was just about to end, substitute Darragh Lynch added a third to round off an incredible victory

The three points see Bray go top of the First Division with rivals Drogheda United, Longford Town, UCD AFC and Cobh Ramblers set to play tomorrow. 

Cabinteely 1-1 Athlone Town

Cabinteely were held at home by bottom side Athlone Town to lose ground on their promotion rivals.

It was the bottom side which started the more positively and they took the lead in the 27th minute thanks to Ronan Manning's penalty. 

Two minutes later, Cabinteely were back on level terms as Christian Lotefa found the net to make it level at the break.

Both sides had chances in the second-half but it remained level as Athlone get a valuable point for their efforts. 

Galway United 2-1 Shamrock Rovers

Galway United made it three wins from three matches since John Caulfield took charge thanks to a last-minute winner against Shamrock Rovers. 

Galway came into the game on the back of consecutive victories following the appointment of John Caulfield and their confidence showed in the first-half. 

An impressive first-half performance was capped off by an incredible Shane Duggan strike from 30-yards into the top corner to put the home side ahead. 

The young Rovers came back into the game in the second-half and deservedly got level thanks to Michael Leddy in the 69th minute. 

It looked as though the points would be shared but it was Kevin Farragher who popped up in the 94th minute to seal three consecutive victories for Caulfield's Galway side.
