Drogheda United 5-1 Cabinteely
Cabinteely dropped in fourth position in the First Division table as Drogheda United replaced them at the summit with a 5-1 win at United Park.
Paul Fox put the then-league leaders ahead just seven minutes into the game but four minutes later, captain Jake Hyland found the equaliser to draw Drogs level. Mark Doyle completed the turnaround in the 25th minute and Drogheda scored three second-half goals to complete the win.
Hyland notched a brace 61 minutes in, Doyle completed his double five minutes later and Stephen Meaney added the fifth in the final minute.
Bray Wanderers 3-1 Athlone Town
Bray Wanderers come back from behind to claim second spot in the First Division against Athlone Town at the Carlisle Grounds.
Adam Lennon put the away side into a shock lead in the 19th minute but Ryan Graydon brought the Seagulls level in the 33rd minute.
Three minutes later, the turnaround was complete as Dylan Barnett scored and Callum Thompson added a third in the 73rd minute to secure the points.
UCD AFC 0-3 Galway United
John Caulfield's Galway United secured back-to-back victories thanks to a 3-0 win over UCD at Belfield.
After a goalless first-half, Galway took the lead thanks to a Enda Curran strike in the 55th minute. Josh Collins turned the ball into his own net 10 minutes later and Stephen Christopher added a third in the 83rd minute to secure the win.
Galway are now up to seventh in the table and if the form continues, they'll be looking to close the six-point gap on the play-off places.
Shamrock Rovers II 0-1 Cobh Ramblers
Cobh Ramblers secured their fourth-straight league victory at Tallaght Stadium against Shamrock Rovers II.
There was just goal in the game as Conor Drinan found the net in the 67th minute to secure the hard-fought victory.
The win sees Ramblers go level on points with fifth-placed UCD AFC and just three points off the top of the table.
