The nominations for the SSE Airtricity/SWAI Player of the Month for the month of April have been confirmed.

The winner will be announced next week as two players from both Bohemians and Dundalk have been nominated, along with one representative of both Shamrock Rovers and Waterford.

SSE Airtricity/SWAI Player of the Month - April Nominations

Danny Mandroiu (Bohemians): As well as a sublime winning goal away to Derry City, the young forward has been an influential figure with some exciting displays.

James Talbot (Bohemians): Conceded only one goal in April – a penalty – as Bohs kept six clean sheets.

Michael Duffy (Dundalk): The Lilywhites won five on the bounce last month and Duffy scored four times, hitting winning goals against Waterford, Shamrock Rovers and UCD.

Sean Gannon (Dundalk): A consistent performer, both defensively and in attack, the right back is one of Dundalk’s most potent weapons down that right side.

Roberto Lopes (Shamrock Rovers): Rock solid at the heart of a Hoops defence in which he has grown into the leader. Excelled in wins away to Cork City and Derry City.

Zach Elbouzedi (Waterford): A difficult month for the club but the winger earned rave reviews for his performances and was especially impressive against Bohemians and Cork.
