St. Patrick's Athletic have continued to bolster their forward options as they announced the signing of Crusaders striker Ronan Hale.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has signed for Harry Kenny's side until the end of the 2020 campaign, a move which sees the striker return to the SSE Airtricity League.

Hale had a successful loan spell with Derry City from former club Birmingham City during the 2018 season as he helped the club win the EA SPORTS Cup. His form for the Candystripes saw him capped by the Republic of Ireland Under-21s and he scored in the 3-1 win over Iceland.

At the end of the 2018 season, he moved to Northern Irish Premiership side Crusaders, where he played alongside his brother Rory Hale but has now completed a move to Inchicore.

This follows the capture of former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international Glen McAuley last week as Pats look to add goals to the squad.
