In cooperation with Show Racism The Red Card and St Patrick's Athletic FC, the FAI and the League of Ireland was pleased to take part in Africa Day 2023 this weekend. St Patrick's Athletic LOI Academy players (male and female) were on hand to provide football skill activities with the public and handing out information about the Club, while Show Racism The Red Card and FAI staff hosted a pagoda with information on football programmes. Thanks to St Patrick’s Athletic and Show Racism The Red Card for supporting the day. Africa Day falls annually on May 25th worldwide - this year the event was held at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham supported by the department of foreign affairs and brought together over 5,000 people during the day to celebrate African cultures.
