The 21-year old striker signed for the League Two side Exeter in February but now returns to the SSE Airtricity League with First Division side Cabinteely, having previously played for UCD and Bray Wanderers.

Swan started his SSE Airtricity League career with Bray Wanderers before moving to UCD where he was a key part of UCD's Europa League campaign in 2015. Swan scored all three of their goals in their four European matches and was awarded SWAI Player of the Month for the month of July.

Swan scored 18 goals for UCD in two seasons and now links up with Pat Devlin at Cabo, and Swan is delighted to sign for the club.

Swan said: "I am delighted to be here. It's a great club, Cabo are a club on the rise.

"I have good ties with Pat and I wanted to link up again with him. I can't wait to get going now. The target now is to get in the team, get scoring goals and enjoying my football again."

Director of Football and First Team Manager Pat Devlin expressed his delight at Ryan choosing Cabo' despite interest from a number of clubs. "We are delighted to have Ryan here, it's a brilliant opportunity for Ryan and Cabinteely.

"It's a great fit, he's been out injured since coming back from Exeter, now it's an opportunity to put himself in the shop window and show everyone what he can do."
