Derry City have retained the services of Republic of Ireland U-21 international Stephen Mallon.
The Sheffield United winger has extended his loan spell at the Candystripes where he enjoyed a fantastic start to life having scored two goals in four appearances for Declan Devine's side.
Mallon will now stay at the club until the end of the 2020 season and feature for the club in European competition.
Derry have also added to their forward line with the capture of former Celtic midfielder Joe Thomson.
The 23-year old was with Dunfermline for two seasons, making 38 appearances in the league for the club, scoring two goals.
Thomson signed an 18-month contract at the club and has already joined training as Derry ramp up preparations for the new season.
