Following his side's huge 1-0 victory at Dalymount Park, ex-Gypsie Ismahil “Izzy” Akinade spoke of his delight at getting all three points back at his old stomping ground despite the home side dominating for large spells.  He said: “Delighted with the win tonight, it was tough. In fairness to Bohs, they dominated especially the second half and had us under pressure. "They had more chances but I think we defended really well and thankfully got the three points we came here to get. “It was good to be back, the atmosphere is always really good here and a great place to play so it was a good experience. Thankfully I didn’t get any boos or anything so I’ll take that!” Akinade and his striking partner Courtney Duffus combined well throughout having developed a real understanding up front for the Blues. This was evident when a neat one-two between the pair led to Duffus cutting inside two Bohs players and finishing well over Shane Supple which was enough to take all three points on the night.  Speaking on his relationship with the talented forward, “Izzy” said; “I know he’s only here for another month or so, but we're going to miss Courtney. We have struck up a great partnership since the first game we played against St. Pat’s together and you can see he’s a great finisher. "You can see why he’ll go back to England where he’ll rip it up but I enjoy playing alongside him.” Up next for Akinade and his high flying teammates is a mouth-watering clash with title chasers Dundalk at the Regional Sports Centre on Friday. Akinade admits he can't wait for Friday to come around, “We’re really good at home this season, and fancy ourselves to beat anyone there but it will be tough.  "The last time we played up there we were missing a few players, I think Courtney and myself didn’t play and just lost 1-0 right at the end. But it will be a different game come Friday in Waterford and really looking forward to it.”
